Would you like to experience authentic Okinawa soba in Vancouver, Canada?
It’s my heartfelt wish to share not just the taste, but the spirit of Okinawa through each bowl we serve.
I was born and raised in Okinawa — a place shaped by both deep history and resilience.
Through this soba, I hope to share the beauty of my hometown with the world, and to plant small seeds of peace, one smile at a time.
May this bowl warm your heart, connect us across cultures, and remind us that a peaceful world begins with simple, shared moments.
Owner Tatchan

A Taste of Okinawa’s Soul FoodEach bowl is made with care, bringing you the warmth and comfort of Okinawa — wherever you are.
Okinawa soba is a beloved traditional noodle dish from Okinawa, Japan.
Despite its name, it’s not made with buckwheat, but with chewy wheat noodles that give it a unique texture.
The broth is a flavorful blend of pork, chicken, or beef stock, combined with rich bonito (katsuobushi) dashi,
creating a soup that is both light and deeply savory.
Toppings often include tender braised pork belly (sanmai niku), along with green onions, fish cake,
and even egg omelet — each family has their own favorite style.
Whether served at home or on special occasions, Okinawa soba is truly the soul food of Okinawa.
Now, we’re bringing this heartfelt bowl to Vancouver — made with care, and full of island spirit.
You’ll find us popping up somewhere today.
Do you know about “Yatai”?
In Japan, Yatai are traditional street food stalls — small, mobile eateries often seen at festivals.
They serve comforting dishes like takoyaki or yakisoba, Ramen etc and bring people together with their nostalgic charm.
We don’t have a storefront.
Like a traditional Japanese yatai (food stall), we move from place to place,
bringing hot, handmade bowls of Okinawa soba wherever we go.

Guess where we’re open today!
We update our location and opening hours every Monday.
We’re always looking forward to seeing your smile — somewhere, sometime, maybe even today.
